Group Coaching & Leadership Method
Open Aperture is a group coaching methodology for senior leaders who are ready to expand their perspective — and transform how they lead.
The Method
"The quality of your leadership is determined by the quality of your seeing."
Open Aperture is built on a simple premise: when leaders expand their perspective, everything changes — their decisions, their relationships, their organizations.
Read the full methodology →We begin by widening the aperture — examining the assumptions, blind spots, and inherited patterns that quietly shape how you lead.
Leadership is not a solo act. The cohort becomes a mirror and a resource — peers who challenge, reflect, and grow alongside you.
Insight without integration is incomplete. We build practices that translate new awareness into lasting behavioral change.
Great leaders see the whole system. We develop the capacity to read organizational dynamics and act with greater precision.
Who It's For
You have arrived. By most measures, you are succeeding. And yet — something in you knows that the way you have been leading is not the whole story. There are patterns you keep running into. Conversations that don't land the way you intend. A quiet sense that your perspective, however broad, still has edges you haven't seen.
Open Aperture is for senior leaders and executives who are willing to look honestly at how they lead — not to fix what is broken, but to expand what is possible. Leaders who understand that the most important development work is not about acquiring new skills, but about seeing more clearly.
If you are ready to lead from a wider view, this work is for you.
Group Coaching Program
Each cohort brings together 8–10 senior leaders from non-competing organizations. Over three months, you meet as a group twice a month, building the kind of trust and depth that transforms how you lead.

Understand the patterns, triggers, and assumptions that shape your leadership — and learn to work with them consciously.
Build lasting relationships with peers who understand the complexity of senior leadership and will challenge you to grow.
Every insight is grounded in real work. You bring your actual challenges and leave with clarity, not just concepts.
“I have always been an emotional person, but for much of my life those emotions felt extreme and were often shaped by what I assumed others were thinking about me. It was exhausting and, at times, overwhelming. Open Aperture gave me something I didn't realize I needed: space. It taught me how to pause, breathe, and truly notice what I'm feeling—both emotionally and physically. Instead of judging my emotions, I learned to simply allow them. That shift has been incredibly powerful.
For a long time, I viewed many of my feelings as "bad." This class helped me understand that my emotions are not flaws—they are part of my humanity. I am learning to accept myself as I am and to approach my inner world with compassion, which has been deeply healing.
Another meaningful part of the experience was being surrounded by other professionals who shared similar struggles. The vulnerability in the room created a sense of connection and understanding that I hadn't experienced before. It reminded me that I am not alone, and that, in itself, was profoundly healing. I would highly recommend Open Aperture to anyone who wants to grow in emotional awareness and maturity. It has truly been a transformative experience for me.”
Founder
“Larissa Haynes and Open Aperture helped me see how my own thoughts and reactions were negatively influencing the way I was showing up. The session gave me permission to be honest with myself, understand what was really causing those feelings, and become more present with others. That awareness will make me a better leader.”
Managing Director
“A life changing course that turned me into a better person in a very short amount of time. We learned from each other in a way that clearly demonstrated how much time we spend focusing on the "wrong thing" and by focusing on our reactions and being aware of how we are feeling is the "right thing". Realizing that our inner reality creates our outer reality, and that our inner reality is the only thing that can lead to different results as a leader and to a more relaxed and fulfilling life was taught in a way that I don't just know that is true intellectually, I know it in my body and have seen the results.”
Senior Director
“Open Aperture had a profound impact on both my professional and personal life. It reshaped my understanding of effective leadership. I now understand the key is self-leadership -- strengthening my inside game instead of trying to change others. I came to realize how much internal friction I was carrying and how much of it stemmed from black-and-white ideas of what it means to be a "good" person and a "good" leader.”
